Andrew Palomo
The other announced Republican candidate in the 8th District was Barrington-area Andrew Palomo.
When filing closed Tuesday afternoon, Palomo had not filed.
The opponents to Congressman Joe Walsh are Rich Evans and Robert Canfield.
Canfield did not surface until the first day of the filing of petitions.
Canfield is a flake, who doesn’t have enough signatures on his petitions.
He’ll be dropped from the ballot.
