When I reached out to the Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul campaigns, I was told that their Delegate petitions were pretty much ready to file.

Figure they will be presented to the Illinois State Board of Elections toward the end of the week after the Iowa Caucus stories have played out.

That probably means Thursday, but, since Friday is the deadline, it’s then or never.

Rick Santorum’s petition passers are still on the street.

The Mitt Romney petitions are already filed.
