Subject: Help Dee Beaubien Get on the Ballot!

Dear,

On April 23rd, over 70 people attended a press conference to hear pro-LGBT Dee Beaubien announce that she is officially running as an Independent candidate for State Representative in the 52nd district. If she is successful in obtaining enough valid signatures to get on the ballot, Dee will be facing right-wing anti-LGBT Republican David McSweeney on November 6th. No Democratic candidate will be on the ballot.

I hope you can join EQIL PAC and me in helping Dee get enough petition signatures. We have set two “Walk Days With Dee” to get as many volunteers as possible to visit registered voters in the 52nd district and ask them to sign the petition to get Dee on the ballot. Any registered voter in the 52nd district can sign the petition. You can live anywhere in Illinois to join us in circulating petitions. It will be a lot of fun and one of the most important things we can do in the next few weeks to promote LGBT equality in Illinois. Please join us:

Sunday, May 6th
Meet at noon
Walk With Dee 1-3 p.m.

Saturday, May 19th
Meet at 10 a.m.
Walk With Dee 11 a.m. -1 p.m.

We will meet at Dee’s campaign office, 202 Northwest Highway, Suite A, Fox River Grove (phone: 847-516-3932), get instructions, say hello to Dee and take off to get signatures. Please RSVP to EQILPAC@gmail.com or call me at (773) 477-7173. If you need a ride or can give others a ride, please let me know that as well and we will take it from there. The Metra Fox River Grove stop on the Northwest line is a 1/2 block from the campaign office.

Thank you for your commitment to getting Dee Beaubien elected as the next State Representative from the 52nd district and for working to elect pro-LGBT candidates. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly with any questions.

Sincerely,

Randy Hannig, EQIL PAC Liaison

P.S. Please feel free to bring a friend and pass on this email to anyone you think might be interested in helping out. The Daily Herald article from Dee’s April 23rd announcement is here:http://www.dailyherald.com/article/20120423/news/704209518/

  1. Sorry to see Mrs. Beaubien bring Chicago extremists out to the suburbs to help her.

Losing this race will forever tarnish her late husband’s legacy.

The Beaubien’s skeleton closet is going to be opened during this race once the first transsexual activist from Chicago hits the streets in Lake County.

  2. Voters will ultimately be the judge, but I don’t think “moderate” candidates rally gay and transgender campaign volunteers to ride out on the Metra from Chicago and circulate petitions.

If your looking for Dee’s campaign headquarters, look for the rainbow flag.

  3. One of the areas of “equality” that Dee and her friends want is for transsexuals, who are trying to change from men to women (but still have their God given private parts), to be able to use the ladies room where our young daughters and granddaughters are located.

  4. The LGBT volunteer with the most signatures will get a special limited edition Tom Gooch “Friendship” ring and a friendly tug on the hair at the Riverside Inn Motel.
