Roskam to Host Family Fun Event Saturday in Crystal Lake
WHEATON –Congressman Peter Roskam (IL-06) invites family and friends to join him on Saturday, June 9th at 2 p.m. for an afternoon of family fun and a chance to talk about what local residents want to see happening in Washington. Members of the community can meet Congressman Roskam and his family while enjoying popcorn, snow cones, and a petting zoo.

Maybe some Occupy McHenry County folks will show up for entertainment. (Whether they do or don’t, please send me some photos because I’ll be at the GOP State Convention listening to National Republican Party Chairman praise the role that Tea Party volunteers in Wisconsin.)
Good luck finding that praise for the tea party grassroots at the convention.
When the Illinois GOP stops congratulating themselves for their hand in Walker’s win, maybe they will realize it was done together along with the tea party grassroots efforts.
The GOP alone could never have pulled this off.
They conveniently rescheduled meetings to avoid the tea party.
And the Mchenry County Caucus, when did they meet at the Illinois Republican Convention?
I never got that memo from Geri Davis, either.
But I did get an invite to a golf outing.
I guess they want my money, but nothing else.
Just sit in the corner and be quiet until they need my money.
