This was too good to pass up.

"No Dogs Allowed," reads the sign at the Crystal Lake Main Beach. It was posted for the Chicago Junior Rowing Championships.

I was aiming for the “No Dogs Allowed” sign in front of the Crystal Lake Main Beach at the Greater Chicago Junior Rowing Championships on May 5, 2012.

And I got it.

But there was a bonus riding by when I snapped the lens.

A dog was riding with its head out the window.

The same weekend, the cartoon “Marmaduke” featured “No dogs allowed” signs along the route he goes walking.  Here’s one:
