The topics and dates follow:
- July 9th – Townships & Party Positions
- July 16th – Municipalities
- July 23rd – County Positions
- July 30th – State Positions
Be sure to make a photocopy of your property tax bill and bring it with you.
The way to get motivated to become more involved in government is to:
1) post your property tax bill on your refrigerator, and
2) Track all the taxes your pay: Property, Income, Sales, gasoline, etc.
Ever notice how gasoline taxes are not itemized on the receipt you receive after pumping gasoline?
Melissa should add another Monday for School Board.
In fact, she should run for her local School Board or MCC Board this Spring.
