David McSweeney, candidate for State Representative in the 52nd District, has received the support of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. The Illinois Chamber represents the interests of businesses, large and small, throughout the state of Illinois. In a letter addressed to David McSweeney the Chamber board said; “We will encourage the business community to vigorously support your candidacy”.

“It is the Chamber’s goal to help elect a pro-business majority in the Illinois General Assembly and work diligently in support of the interests of businesses large and small to advance legislation that encourages economic growth, job creation, and less regulation. Your support of pro-business issues and your previous background as a successful businessman earned this support”.

At no other time in our state’s history has it been more critical that Members of the Illinois General Assembly provide leadership that protects and advances the interests of the business community. We believe that your election to the Illinois General Assembly will help produce sustained economic growth, help create more jobs, and get our state back on track”.

“It is an honor to receive the support of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. I’m totally focused on supporting policies that will create jobs and solve our state’s major financial problems. The last decade in the Illinois Legislature has been a travesty and has placed our state and our citizens in the worst possible economic and financial position in our history. I will continue the fight for less taxes and spending and will work hard to pull us out of this tailspin,” said McSweeney.

“Democratic Speaker Michael Madigan’s agenda of higher taxes and more spending has created an economic disaster in this great state. I’m confident that the people of this area will choose my pro-economic growth message over the failed policies of Speaker Madigan,” said McSweeney.
