  1. i am curious as to why the only charges listed are one count of Attempted Criminal Trespass to Residence and one count of Reckless Conduct?

In addition to the above and of greater concern to the community is driving under the influence.

Even with the right not to blow available to repeat offenders, which is sad, wouldn’t this charge still be listed even without breathalyzer results to support law enforcement findings?

Or would this fall under the statement that the investigation continues into this matter and more details and possible additional charges will be forthcoming as they develop?

  2. 4:11 a.m.??? Incident in Marengo. Person picked up from McHenry.

This should be an interesting explanation.

  3. Lisa Duncan said “…In addition to the above and of greater concern to the community is driving under the influence.”

    Huh? Whazzat? Where?

While I will grant you that good old demon rum probably had a hand in this incident, where on earth do you see anything in this article that Crotty was drunk?

He isn’t even identified as the driver, is he?

Maybe it was his buddy driving.

I’m all for getting drunks off the road but let’s make sure 1) they are drunk and 2) they are driving before we arrest them.

Lisa, maybe you could spend the time you spend worrying about why the police didn’t arrest somebody for DUI by trying to improve your reading comprehension.

  4. This story is 100% incorrect, I personally know what happened and at no point was the house trying to be entered, nor was any threat made to the “victim.”

even if you look at the northwest herald the supposed story is completely different than this one.

    Don’t believe everything you hear
