  1. Anna M. Miller is shown to be paid $76,383.07 by Algonquin Township.

Hubby Bob is shown to receive a salary of $88,891.48.

Just go to openthebooks.com to confirm.

It has also been posted that Anna M. earns about $20,000 as a County Board member.

One may actually have the thought cross their mind that maybe they could pay for their own campaigns?

  2. Knowledge voter

Seam to me you know alot of nothing.

You don’t like it, run against any of those wonderful people.

Bob and Anna May do a wonderful at there elected position.

    Great people as well.

I’ll be there there lots of wine.

  3. Yes they do its called McHenry County GREED.

Hello VOTERS get out and Vote STOP this crap.

Can you say Tea Party. I didn’t say Republicans, I said Come on Tea Party

  4. It’s like pieces of the puzzle.

My friend townships are connected to county board members, the sheriff’s office and Springfield Illinois.

    Just sayin

  5. The Millers are perfect examples of what is WRONG with Government. They will have all the Republican phonies AND Jack Franks AND Dee Beaubien there.

Give me a break. The Miller’s are WHY our miserable State and Country are headed off the financial cliff.

Nonetheless, Brent Smith, while you are at this event, be sure to pass fancy French wine provided by Local 150 – the Union that you represent and the Union that is subsidized by the same Governmental Leaders you help elect !!!!!

What a joke, Brent Smith. You make it seem like you’re just a “nice guy” supporting other “nice people” who are critisized by “angry” Tea Party types. The reality is that you have “Miller connections” to Government so your Union is enriched.

  6. Wasn’t that guy Smith driving that white pickup truck for Nygren, enough said . Union guys I thought were with Democrats.

Hahahaha, I got it, that’s Nygren and Andy the Clown RINOS.

Once again this is why the Republicans and McHenry County have the Problems they do.

    Just sayin

  7. CLM, Mike

Well said, are you mad because you were not invited?

Give me a call be my guest.

  8. Brent’s comment caused me to check the last campaign finance report for the Millers.

After reading that the balance in the account at the end of June 2012 was $47,818.35 I thought maybe I should check to see what the money is used for.

One item appears over and over: WINE Between 4/01/2011 and 06/30/2012 the Millers have listed $3,874.60 for wine purchases for fund raisers.

Also of interest is $250.00 for the Grafton Township Golf Outing and $500.00 to TOIPAC – the political action committee for Townships.

I do think I read somewhere that Bob is in the management ranks of TOI.

Another item of interest in their campaign finance reporting is donations from vendors who do business with the County and the Township.

Thank you Brent for making me look this up.

Once again please be my guest, please call. Cheers

  10. Proposed raises for positions in Alg. Twp. I think they are meeting about this on Wed. night.

Proposed increase from present to be increased over the next 4 years

    Supervisor $66,600 to $72,000

    Road Commissioner $93,000 to $101,000

Twp Clerk $17,700 no increase proposed

    Assessor $84,000 $91,000

  11. Vote AGAINST the salary increases. DON’T EXPAND GOVERNMENT YET AGAIN!!!!

If the “Miller” family doesn’t like it, they don’t have to run for re-election.

Brent Smith probably supports their raises. I wonder why? He’s probably interested in “their children” or “puppies” or “diabetic prevention”.

Cut their salaries, no benefits. no pension plan; then let’s see if they’re still interested in “Community Service”.

    What BS.
