Get Your Tickets for the First (Maybe Only) 8th District Debate Between Joe Walsh and Tammy Duckworth

An email from Congressman Joe Walsh’s campaign Field Director:

Friends,

For the first time, on October 9th at 7 pm, Tammy will finally sit down with Congressman Walsh and have a real debate in front of the voters. The debate is scheduled to take place at the Meadows Club in Rolling Meadows, IL. There is a limited number of seats and each campaign has been given a limited number of tickets.

Tammy Duckworth is usually seen only on TV. 8th District constituents will have the opportunity to see her in person in Rolling Meadows during a debate with Congressman Joe Walsh on October 9th.  Call for your tickets now.

In case you missed Friday night, Tammy Duckworth once again said that YOU are better off than you were 4 years ago. Tammy believes that with 23 million unemployed and thousands of people losing their homes and savings, you are better off.

On Saturday, September 29, the Walsh for Congress team will hold a Super Saturday and will be phone banking and canvassing all over the district. We have two phone banks set up, one in our campaign headquarters in Schaumburg, and one in our victory center located in Wauconda, IL (453 West Liberty St., Wauconda, IL).

All volunteers who take part in the Super Saturday and donate at least 4 hours of their time on Saturday either canvassing or phone banking will receive a ticket to the debate. (Must RSVP by September 26th) Not only will you be able to get to see Joe and Tammy debate live for the first and only time, with questions from the audience, but you will know that you helped Congressman Walsh take another step closer to winning in November.

Anyone who is interested in taking part in our SUPER SATURDAY on September 29th, to help Congressman Walsh get re-elected and receive a ticket to the debate, please RSVP to our Volunteer Coordinator, Barb, at (847) 804-2112 or Barb@walshforcongress.com..

This race has become so close that every little thing we do now will make a big difference in November. The numbers don’t lie and we have the Democrats on the ropes and they know it.

Let’s keep this momentum going and carry it straight through November 6th. We only have 49 days left.

Thanks for everything that you are doing!

Let’s keep it going!

Anthony Barry
Field Director

  1. They just had a debate on WFLD last week. Joe Walsh’s big attack was that Tammy Duckworth said we were better off under Obama than GW Bush. Am I the only one who remembers that?
