Ersel Schuster

You could not ask for a better candidate in Ersel, in my humble opinion.
There is no question of her honesty and integrity in the service to her community.

So why do the people of McHenry County keep voting back in the same jokers that are supposed to be watching over and investing “Our” money within the county showing fiduciary responsibility?
I think Ms. Shuster should be given a fair shot at a term.
It could be argued that Mr. Koehler has kept the county fiscally solvent, but how hard was that to do when all he needed to do was keep going back to the citizens each year for any amount of ‘cash infusion’ he needed to look good.
That being said, we are never going to have a perfect person with all the answers in any governmental body, Ken Koehler didn’t do a bad job (perhaps some questionable real-estate dealings with his name tag upon them) but I think it’s time for a change as well.
Other than some really nice ‘cemetery gate’ looking monuments erected on RT. 14 in Crystal Lake, ( I know, that is CL’s money) but the same mind set is in play, what does McHenry County have to show for the past twenty years?

Ersel Schuster should be given the opportunity.
I’m tired of everyone else holding hands or being tied to Mr. Tryon in some way or other.
Does Ersel mentor Grafton’s Linda Moore?
If Ersel does, I’m sorry that she was re-elected.
That is one woman I fully support in just about anything she decides to go after! Go Get Em Ersel!!! 🙂
Would Ms. Shuster back placing a binding referendum for the election of the county board chairman at-large by the voters?
If the referendum is on the ballot on April 9th, and voters approve, then 2014 would see an at-large county board chairman election.
Where does Shuster stand on this issue?

Pam Althoff?
Barb Wheeler?
Jack Franks?
Based on the current choices for County Board Chair, Schuster is the obvious choice.
She is HONEST, has little political funding, has no ties to that political funder in Carpentersville and is NOT beholden to Mike Tryon.
I cannot say the same for any of the other announced candidates.
Ersel Schuster is close friends with Linda Moore.
Schuster has attended several Grafton Meetings with Moore occasionally sitting next to her before/after meetings in discussion.
Choosing to support and coach Linda Moore illustrates very poor judgement and decision making skills for Schuster.
And with all of the lawsuits Moore is contained in (Grafton, Family and Business), this touches upon Schuster’s character and ethics to be so closely associated with such a person.
What rock do people like you live under?
Your innocent attacks on Ms. Moore are beyond any rationale.
It is the mentoring of Ms. Schuster that helped bring to light many of the illegal deeds perpetrated on the taxpayers of Grafton Township by your trustees and their minions.
If you spent as much time helping clean up the trustees’ mess as you do flapping your “fingers” causing as much trouble as you can… your taxpayers would not need to be subjected to all the outrageous legal bills and embarrassment your trustees are giving them.
Grow up.
Thank goodness there are strong, knowledgeable people like Mrs. Schuster who have the courage to stand up to those who think that holding elected office is some sort of a personal game….be it township or county.
