I don’t begin to know the players or the issues, but Lakemoor is facing a mayoral contest.  (Maybe someone can provide some details in the comment section).

Lakemoor Village President Ryan Weihofen is being challenged by Tina Asmus.

Besides the election for the top post, these Trustees terms are expiring:

• Phil Lonigro
• Colin McIntyre
• Kimberly Beach

Only Lonigro has filed for re-election so far.

Filing is open until the close of business on December 26th.

Those thinking about running need to file a Statement of Economic Interest with the County Clerk and attach its receipt with a staple to one’s petitions and Statement of Candidacy. And, be sure to number the pages.
