On the more professional looking sign are listed the names of Natalie Littlefield, Timmy Moss and Joseph Sanders as being supported by “Local Firefighters.”

The black and white sign designed to look less professional lists Corless, Naatz and Toussaint.  Corky Corless is listed as the tax district’s President in the County Year Book.

  1. Isn’t it ridiculous that we need “fire trustees”?

    Only in Illinois!

We must be the biggest chumps in the country.

  2. I hear you Jim B.

There’s a reason that our taxes are insane in this state!

Down south (not IL) you’ll pay 1/4 – 1/2 of what we pay…I guess snow removal is VERY expensive and it has nothing to do with patrinage, corruption, and too many layers of Government! LOL

  3. Many states don’t finance education with property taxes.

it’s time we all figured that out. If you want to lower taxes, run for school board.
