Haven’t you read re the Police Pension Fund (not a system) on page 31 of the 2011 Audited Statement on your Village website where it states otherwise?
“As of December 31,2010, the most recent actuarial valuation date, the Police Pension plan was 40.0 percent funded. The actuarial liability for benefits was $10,518,825 and the actuarial value of assets was $4,209,906 resulting in an underfunded actuarial accrued liability (UAAL) of $6,308,919. The covered payroll (annual payroll of active employees covered by the plan) was $1,631,516 and the ratio of the UAAL to the covered payroll is 386.7%.”
