Robo-Call for Nunda Township Easter Egg Hunt Mentions Independent Supervisor Candidate’s Name

Nunda Township is holding an Easter Egg Hunt at the part of the Nunda Township complex next to the Supervisor’s Office on Bay Road.

It will start at 10 on Saturday.

Nunda Township will host an Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday at the township offices, 3510 Bay Road.

Of interest to some may be the contents of the robo-call on the event.

Unfortunately, the Friend of McHenry County Blog who sent it to me did not get the beginning of the recording.

  1. No puplic money was spent on the Easter Egg Hunt.

The Robo Call was also donated.

  2. To Ms. Valzano, you really should find out what your talking about before posting accusations on this blog.

The rob o call was donated along with all the candy and eggs for the event by the Junior Wolves Football organization. The township had no expense whatsoever.

My kids had a blast and Leda made sure every kid got some candy and found eggs.

The “Junior wolves” which is run by the Drains is a class organization they do things like this to get new players and because that’s what the Drains do.

    Their good people.

It was not political at all.

No campaigning was done that I saw.

It was a fun event and I hope Leda wins so it will be a yearly thing.

  3. Anthony C, I believe that you really don’t know what you’re talking about. There were many individuals who contributed generously to this event. The Junior Wolves Organization may have sponsored the event, but did not donate all the candy and eggs. Please don’t give them all the credit.

Hmm! – and giving Leda your vote just to have a yearly Easter Egg Hunt – that’s idiotic! I would be more concerned as to where and how my tax dollars will be spent by the next administration.

I find it arrogant and disrespectful of the Interim Supervisor and Leda making decisions without board approval. If she doesn’t care about the board members, why would she care about you?

Someone I know who does care about the Taxpayer’s of Nunda Township is Lee Jennings.

Lee is an honest, compassionate, and respectful man and is highly qualified to be the next elected Nunda Township Supervisor.

I ELECT LEE JENNINGS FOR SUPERVISOR

  4. Anthony C – Where has this Junior Wolves organization been in the last 12 years when you used the Anita Sherwood Park for free! John Heisler had projects that he was doing for the good of the community, the Junior Wolves never came to the Township to say they would like to give back to the Township for using the park for free!

Just because Leda Drain is involved with the organization as treasurer a job/organization she has bad mouthed when I was in the office. She can’t wait to not be involve with the group!

I think the Junior Wolves an organization Leda is involved with should not have been involved with the Easter Egg hunt, a real conflict of interest! Leda only did this because she is running against Lee Jennings as Township Supervisor, he is more qualified for the position than a part time clerk!

  5. Yes Anthony, lets elect people so we can we can we have Easter egg hunts.

If there were a metal detector at the polling place that detected “stupidity”, I am afraid you would not be able to vote.

Leda Drain came into that office as a temp to answer phones and had an agenda when she hooked up with the Assesor and Donna Kopsell.

Step one, get rid of Wendy, step two, lie, lie lie.

Step three, take over the township even though you have no scruples and are just interested in yourself and the other people sucking off the township.

My vote goes to the Republican candidate Lee Jennings.

  6. Bridgett you are truly a class act.

The voters have spoken, pick up your crayons and move on….

Also if anyone is missing campaign signs in the Oakwood Hills area contact me……

  7. Nunda voter, my number is listed, give me a call,I would be glad to discuss any issue you have.

Or are you too much of a guttersnipe, hiding behind your psuedoname?
