SPRINGFIELD…..State Representative Mike Tryon (R-Crystal Lake) has announced the official launch of his new legislative web site www.miketryon.org.

The new web site includes many new features, including an interactive map of the new District 66.

“My office is still fielding a lot of phone calls from people who aren’t sure if they are still located in my legislative district,” said Tryon.

“The new district boundaries are confusing. Now people can look at a map on the District tab, pull the map down to their street level, and see if they live in District 66.”

Other features on the new site include a biography page and a news page that is complete with up-to-date press releases and legislative updates. The site also includes a link to Tryon’s current legislation and a listing of his current committee assignments.

Constituents can also contact Tryon directly through a “Contact” link on the new site.

“I’m very excited about this new contact feature, because it should improve and enhance constituent service for the people in District 66,” Tryon said.

A final new feature of the new site will allow people to see and follow Tryon’s Twitter posts from the House floor. “As more and more people turn to Twitter for news, I will post comments in real time as action unfolds in the Illinois House,” said Tryon. “I’m really excited to start using these new interactive tools on my website.”

  1. I recognize some, but not all, of the circle around Mike (Ken Koehler, Joe Gottemoller).

Can you identify all of them?

Too bad Mike didn’t go solo with the picture, which is “worth a thousand words”.

  2. Mike Tryon: Bought and paid for by… er, um…presented by Commonwealth Edison.
