Pretty much the whole school was reading for a flashmob dance for retiring Chezak Elementary School Principal Chuck Lamb’s retirement.

No word as to whether the physical education teachers who put the flashmob performance at Chesak Elementary School together to honor retiring Principal Chuck Lamb used social media as an organizing tool.
Cesak Elementary School (Kindergarten thru 2nd grade) for seven years.
On Tuesday, his students turned into a flashmob to send him off with a memory it is unlikely anyone will forget.
The performance honored Lamb on his retirement from Huntley School District 158, where he has served from ten years.
The physical education teachers spent the last few weeks chorographing the students and staff members.
You can imagine the excitement when pretty much everyone but Principal Lamb turned into the
Mr. Lamb has been in the education field for more than 35 years.
Flash mobs whose purpose is to incite violence, obviously not this type, will be illegal beginning 2014.
Senate Bill 1005 (SB 1005), Public Act 98-0014 (PA 98-0014) becomes effective January 1, 2014.
“(8) When the defendant is convicted of attempted mob
action, solicitation to commit mob action, or conspiracy to
commit mob action under Section 8-1, 8-2, or 8-4 of the

Charles Lamb has 36 years of service as of the end of this 2012-13 school year.
35 years of service is full retirement for teachers and administrators in Illinois public schools.
Since taxpayers pay his salary and pension, taxpayers have the right to know his salary and pension.
This always makes some teachers and administrators really angry.
The claim is they are not appreciated if their salaries and benefits are revealed when feel good articles are written.
Which is a ridiculous claim.
The following was agreed upon by school boards, State Representatives, State Senators, and Governors on the taxpayers behalf.
How good of a job have school boards, State Representatives, State Senators, and Governors done in revealing to taxpayers the salaries and benefits of teachers and administrators?
The following information should come as no surprise to taxpayers if school boards, State Reps, State Senators, and Governors were truly serious about transparency.
It should be very intuitive and easy for the taxpayer to locate the following information.
Fiscal School Pensionable
Year Year Income
2013 2012-13 $111,864
2012 2011-12 $108,607
2011 2010-11 $106,477
2010 2009-10 $106,477
Total $433,425
$433,425/4 = $108,356.
$108,356 x .75 = $81,267.
Starting pension will be $81,267.
It will increase 3% compounded annually.
So year 2 pension will be
$81,267 x 1.03 = $83,705.
Hopefully that posted in a readable format, if not I’ll re-post.
Well the formatting didn’t turn out that great.
Here’s another shot at it.
Fiscal Year *** School Year *** Pensionable Income
2013 ******* 2012-13 ****** $111,864
2012 ******* 2011-12 ****** $108,607
2011 ******* 2010-11 ****** $106,477
2010 ******* 2009-10 ****** $106,477
Thanks for rubbing it in.
Although I’d rather have raked all the cash in a pile and burned it, I sent it in to Treasurer LeFew.
The majority of which, goes to pay for this ongoing drivel.
This Lamb should be doing a skit for me, thanking me for the windfall he’s received and is retiring to.
