Nevada would end up in second place.

Now comes a midday email from the Chicago Tribune, an advertisement, the heading says.

It urges recipients to contact their legislators and ask them to vote against the gambling expansion bill, Senate Bill 1739.

  1. Given the choice of passing gambling or cutting expenses, salaries, benefits, and pensions, the General Assembly and Governor will eventually choose gambling.

The public sector unions are fine with increases, but if increases are unsustainable, they simply look for more tax revenues.

Gambling is a source of tax revenue for public sector union employees.

The public sector union special interest groups offer far more campaign contributions and votes than the anti-gambling special interest group.

Illinois politics is all about campaign contributions and votes.

The Social Security 401k worker not receiving a public sector pension is receiving the short end of the stick.

  2. The mainstream media are so in the tank to left wing causes, BIAS is no longer accurate.

Advocacy toward the Democratic and Liberal causes is now the correct description that the media have toward their friends in politics.

Argument to the contrary is no longer tenable.
