Crystal Lake, IL- July 1st, 2013- The Nunda Township Republican Central Committee announced that on Monday July 8th they will be hosting Bruce Rauner, Republican Candidate for Illinois Governor, as the guest speaker at their regular monthly meeting.

The meeting, which is open to Republican voters from Nunda Township and across McHenry County, will be held at American Community Bank located at 1500 S Il Route 31 in McHenry and will start promptly at 7pm.

Mr. Rauner was originally scheduled to appear at the Nunda Republican meeting in June, however the meeting was cancelled due to severe weather.

The Nunda Township Republican Central Committee is an elected and appointed group of Precinct Committeemen who are committed to promoting Republican candidates and principals in Nunda Township.  Additional information about the organization including how to become more involved can be found at nundagop.org.

With four gubernatorial candidates seeking support and all the other statewide offices up for grabs, it is a wonder that only Nunda Township has a central committee that holds meetings that might tempt members of the public to make a connection with the Republican Party locally.
