“In just three months, the response to Joe’s show has been overwhelmingly positive from both our listeners and advertisers,” said General Manager Jeff Reisman.

“The only complaint was from Joe … He had more to say than we could fit into two hours, so we’re adding an extra hour and are moving his show to drive time in Chicago,” added Program Director Marcus Brown.

“Joe isn’t just a rising star in talk radio. He’s a meteor, and his potential for success in this business is enormous.”

“Doing a talk show is hard work, but it’s a labor of love.

“I’m able to talk with real people every day about all of the critical issues facing our state and our country.

“As it turns out, there are more important issues to talk about on Chicago radio than just sports.” said Walsh.

“I’m hoping the new time enables Mayor Emanuel and Governor Quinn to listen more often. They might learn something.”

Walsh was elected to Congress in 2010 to represent Illinois’ Eighth Congressional District and became a leading voice in the Tea Party movement.

He served in Congress until this past January.

He was born and raised in North Barrington.

He graduated from the University of Iowa and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the University of Chicago.

He lives in McHenry, Illinois, with his wife, Helene. Between them, they have five children.

With the line-up change also comes the opportunity to feed the growing appetite for Dennis Prager. Prager, a Salem Radio Network host, moves to an earlier time, and can now be heard daily from 8p – 11p.

  1. While I don’t like Joe’s politics as he is just too conservative for me I do find him to be entertaining.

He has a certain charm which captivates people!

Glad that he found a venue for his talent in reaching out to people and found a way to earn an income at the same time.

Not many people are lucky to earn a living at a job they really love!
