“It’s clear Lisa Madigan was hearing the same thing.

It will be interesting to see how Rauner addresses the public sector employees (management, administrators, unions) many whose members are receiving pensions and benefits increases granted by Democrats and Republicans way out of line with today’s global competitive reality.
The tried and true model is campaign contributions and votes in exchange for favorable legislation, who cares about the financial viability of the State, tax increases, or anyone outside the special interest groups that elect you into office.
