Somehow I missed Kane County Board Chairman’s Aurora Porky Picnic invitation. The event is tomorrow and costs $30 apiece $50 per couple.

Political folks from up and down the Fox River Valley and even into the flatlands east and west come for great pork chops (and chicken, if memory serves me correctly).  Lots of blow up playthings for the kids, too.

Lauzen is in a county where the Chairman is elected at large and has more power than the head of the McHenry County Board, who is elected by her colleagues.
