Crystal Lake, IL- August 9, 2013-The Nunda Township Republican Central Committee announced Friday that the guest speaker at their August 14th meeting will be Dan Proft, representing the Illinois Opportunity Project.

The meeting will be held at the American Community Bank, 1500 S Il Route 31 in McHenry as will start promptly at 7pm, and is open to Republicans countywide.

Mr. Proft, who ran for the Republican nomination for governor in 2010 has been a radio host on WLS-AM and currently hosts the morning show with co-host Bruce Wolf.

“A lot of Republicans in Nunda Township and McHenry County are concerned about the severe damage being done by the Democrats in Chicago and Springfield,” said Nunda GOP Vice Chairman Mike Shorten,

“It is an honor for us to be able to host Mr. Proft in Nunda and we look forward to hearing his take on the challenges facing Illinois.”
