Friday I was having problems reading the name of a man who signed the list of people that have taken out petitions in McHenry County.
He indicated that he was running for County Clerk.
It turns out I not only couldn’t figure out his last name, but I got his first name wrong.
Today I have tracked him down.
His name is Keith Addison.
He currently works in the County Clerk’s Office and told me his areas of responsibilities include the election operation, equipment and logistics.
“I understand the inside of the office and the people,” he said.
The Hebron resident is 61 and points to his background of management of “teams or people all over the country” as qualification to head up the Clerk’s Office.
Addison previously was IT Director at Fortune 50 company Cardinal Health. He held the same position at Automatic Liquid Packaging in Woodstock before its name was changed to Catalent. Prior to that he worked at Monsanto.
“I haven’t run for an office before,” he revealed.
“The next Clerk will have some tremendous issues to cope with,” Addison believes. He points to the possibility of new voting machines and the institution of online voter registration, which has been signed into law.
“I have a strong systems background.”
This is the MOST highly qualified person on the list.
Worth looking at!!
Certainly keeps Provenzano at the bottom of the list of those who are qualified for the office.
There is hope!
I do not refer to the type that resides on Pennsylvania Ave.
Anton is spot on correct compared to Provenzono our two new candidates have some real credentials.
One from IT and working knowledge of the office
And another with a business and law degree.
I stated earlier that Provenzano is the guy that runs for anything that gives a public check but he has ZERO qualifications.
Give Provanzano a year and everyone of his family members of working age will have a job in the county.
As each one becomes old enough, he will add on.
He wants a “family business”.
Please Mr. Addison, get yourself some help from someone experienced in
political campaigning you will need a lot of help and money. And pucker up you’re in a race with tricky Nicky
