No Audit for Family Services in Last Two Years

With the recently explained audit of The Advantage Group (TAG) and the debacle with the Family Services agency, I filed a Freedom of Information request with the McHenry County Mental Health Board for any audits performed on Family Services in the last two years.

Family Services collapsed in August of 2012, so obviously the interesting information is that there was no audit in its last year of existence.

But in April things were clearly off track, as the McHenry County Board’s Public Health Committee heard a proposal from Executive Director Lori Nelson on merging with the North Central Behavioral Health System.

She said the agency had been in financial trouble for “over five years.”

Had I re-read the above linked article before I submitted my FOI request, I would have asked for audit activity for the last six years.

This Freedom of Information reply says there was no audit of the now-defunct Family Services agency for the last two years.

In any event, the FOI reply below from the 708 Board says there has been no audit during the past two years.

  1. Paula Yensen is and absolute disgrace as a county board member and mental health board member.

Purposely NOT having a quorum to delay and believe me, she wants to keep Gosser.

    Clean it out!!

Remember her voters when she is up for re-election,
