McHenry County Young Republicans to host a Constitution Educational Event
The McHenry County Young Republicans are celebrating Constitution week (September 17-23) by sponsoring a symposium entitled “The Constitution and You” that hopes to educate the public about the Country’s founding document.
The event will be located at McHenry County College, Monday September 23rd, 2013 starting 6:00 pm in the Conference center.
Monday, September 23rd, is the night that the YRs will present a program on the U.S. Constitution.
The Young Republicans will be hosting two excellent speakers, noted Constitutional Writer Chad Kent and WLS Radio host Dan Proft, to incorporate Constitutional education with issues that are relevant today.
Immediately prior to the forum, there will be a free Pizza Social and Political Organization Fair.
It is a great opportunity for the public to get involved and create powerful connections.
Our intent in hosting this event is to better inform young people about the importance of this document and to create more informed and engaged citizens.
