BRUCE RAUNER AND KIRK DILLARD TOP FIRST CUBA TOWNSHIP REPUBLICANS STRAW POLL
November 10, 2013 – North Barrington, Illinois – The winner of the first Cuba Township Republicans Straw Poll is Bruce Rauner, followed closely by State Senator Kirk Dillard.
“If the Republican Primary Election for Governor of Illinois was today, for whom would you vote?”
- 43% Bruce Rauner (53 votes)
- 39% Kirk Dillard (47 votes)
- 14% Dan Rutherford (17 votes)
- 4% Bill Brady (5 votes)
Total 122 ballots cast.
The Cuba Township Republicans Straw Poll was held Saturday November 9 during their Fall Fundraiser at the Biltmore Country Club in North Barrington to a packed house.
Each of the four Republican Illinois Governor Candidates spoke before dinner and had time to network and engage with guests before the polls closed.
In addition to the Illinois Governor candidates speaking, Congressman Peter J. Roskam gave the keynote address.
