Will County Auditor Puts Checkbook Online

At Monday’s meeting of the McHenry County Republican Central Committee DuPage County Auditor Bob Grogan reported that he had put the checkbook of his county on the internet.

Now comes this press release from Will County Auditor Duffy Blackburn about how he has put Will County’s online, too:

The Office of Duffy Blackburn, CPA, CFE, Will County Auditor posts the Will County Checkbook on-line, updated through 10/31/2013.

To expand on that effort, Duffy Blackburn, CPA, Will County Auditor and his office have compiled links to various points of information on Will County operations and finances in the County’s open government transparency portal.

You can openly view the detail of the checks written by the County.

The online checkbook can be filtered and sorted to view certain dates, check amounts, departments, vendors, account descriptions, and merchants.

Additionally, the current year-to-date and previous year reports are available for viewing or download.
