There’s a committee in Kane County trying to impose a new tax that has taken in some new money.
But, before looking at the new “Show You Care Kane” contributions, let’s look at what the organization started the year with.
Association for Individual Development | 309 W New Indian Trail Ct Aurora, IL 60506 |
$35,673.46 10/1/2013 |
Other Receipt Operating funds per IRC Section 501(h) |
That’s a good bit of money from the Association for Individual Development.
Another $11,460 was provided for postage on February 25th.
Today, the same group is reporting $1,125 spent for yard signs and $4,750 for consulting by
MyComputerGrid, LLC | 3300 Dale Ave, Ste 102 St Joseph, MO |
It is a computer marketing firm.
But, that’s not all.
On July 1, 2013, $76,698.82 was transferred from the not-for-profit to its campaign committee.
If passed, Kane County taxpayers would see their bills increase by 10 cents for every $100 of assessed valuation.
Some supporters of the tax hike referendum are identified here.
No contribution has been reported from any individual or business other than the Association for Individual Development.
A group headed by East Dundee Village Trustee Allen Skillicorn is opposing the referendum.
FYI – AID is a 501c3 and 95% of their revenue comes from the state of Illinois…
