Speaking of milk, I read that the first Mayor Richard Daley’s father was a milk inspector for the City of Chicago.
I wonder if he route took him to McHenry County.
It is currently legal to sell raw milk in Illinois if the customer comes to the farm and brings his/her own container.
Hard to believe the MC health department would still allow this since the McHenry County Historical Society’s experiences…
I am not affiliated with the MCHS so I really hope they are not attacked by the MCHD for my comments..
We need to fight for an amendment to the Illinois Constitution to require that all amendments to bills be germane to the original bill.
Similar provisions have helped in other states.
