Tribune Concludes Prim Won Sheriff’s Race

The internet edition of the Chicago Tribune is running an article entitled,

Prim wins vote count for McHenry sheriff

Prim is described as “a longtime county resident but a relative outsider to the sheriff’s office and McHenry County politics.”

It points out that Sheriff Keith Nygren backed Andy Zinke, while State’s Attorney Lou Bianchi supported Prim.

McHenry County Clerk Kathie Schultz again stated that a recount would not change the results.
