McHenry County Democrats Ask Friends to Attend Convention — 11 Comments

  1. Seems like the Republicans only want like minded republicans at their meeting and this shows the tea party mentality.

  2. Ms. Karma, No, that is not the tea party mentality, it is the good ole’ boy, get rid of the tea party, mentality.

That’s why there needs to be change, and that’s why this county and state is in such a mess.

It’s really a one party state, which will be like the state of Detroit if something isn’t done soon –

  3. Why would a Democrat, turned Republican, turned Independent, invite friends to a Democratic Convention ?

Has he turned back to a Democrat again ?

Or don’t they have an Independent Convention ?

At least the Republicans know you they are !

Harrison can’t seem to decide……… Jim & Carolyn Harrison WANT YOU TO DONATE TO THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY ON THEIR BEHALF !

    Go to : http://www.mchenrydems.org/257331 or http://www.mchenrydems.org/party_meeting_20140319

Harrison only wants to win being an independent, but really is a Democrat .

The Mark Of a Good Leader is the Ability to Make a Decision……..

WE DON’T WANT A FLIP FLOPPER!

    VOTE FOR PRIM…..

HE CAN MAKE A DECISION !

  4. Well said Happy Trails!

Trying to sneak in under the disguise of an Independent !

  5. I guess, once a Democrat, always a Democrat !

I wonder if he’ll get some signatures at the convention………from the Democrats !

Why doesn’t he just run as a Democrat ?

    Oh yeah……he won’t win !

  6. First Mr. Harrison was going to run with Prim and Zinke in the Republican Primary for Sheriff.

Then he backed out of that and I have my own thoughts on why he did that. Then Mr. Harrison wants to run as a Independent but he signed up for the Democratic Convention and has asked the people to donate on his behalf to the Democratic Party.

What does a person do who first is a Republican but can’t win and as a Democrat can’t win…………

    He turns as a Independent??????

You can fool some of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time.

  7. I don’t have much respect for a man who tries to fool the people on what he stands for just to win an election.

I’m not voting for a Democrat and at least Prim knows what he stands for.

Shows me the people can trust Mr. Prim. A man of his word !!!!!!!

  8. The fact that there is nothing posted on the McHenry County GOP site about the convention show how closed off the party is right now.

    They don’t want new people.

    They never have.

Also – WHERE ARE THE RULES FOR THE GOP CONVENTION?

    Why are these not published?

This good ole boys of the Party are corrupt and want to keep power for themselves.
