Filing Day for Jim Harrison

A Jim Harrison petitioner.

A Jim Harrison petitioner in Harvard.

Today is the deadline for Independent candidate for Jim Harrison to file his petitions.

My guess is that with the thousands of signatures required that the filing will be the largest in the history of the McHenry County Clerk’s Office.

Harrison is seeking to run against Republican candidate Bill Prim, who won that right by beating Undersheriff Andy Zinke.

No word as to whether such petitions will be challenged, if submitted.

  1. Of course the signatures he submits will be challenged.

If you knock Harrison off the ballot, that frees up tens of thousands of dollars of money that the party can use for better purposes (e.g. getting rid of Franks, knocking the two democrats off the county board, supporting Rauner, etc.).

It would be malpractice for them to at least not take a swing.

  2. I’m sure Harrison will wait until the very last minute to file…..if he got the signatures……highly doubt…..then he will whine about having to get more than everyone else.

On another subject…poor forlorn Zinke….did anyone see the VERY NECESSARY MRAP vehicle in yesterdays NW Herald ?

Just incase Isis decides to hit McHenry County.

I’m sure when Bill Prim is Sheriff, he can put all the crap Nygren and Zinke spent on unnecessary things in the Nygren-Zinke Museum……maybe Bill can charge money to get in, to offset the cost of everything !

Or maybe Zinke can ride around the county in his MINE RESISTANT AMBUSH PROTECTED VEHICLE if he works for BILL PRIM.

WATCH OUT ISIS, ZINKE IS PREPARED !!!!

  3. Oh THAT isn’t for the swat team.

It’s the New McHenry County Democratic/Independent Food Truck.

It will be used for all the bull they dish out.
