Two local men have popped up on petitions filed for statewide office.

Former McHenry County College Board President and 2012 unsuccessful Democratic Party candidate for County Board Scott Summers is running for Governor on the Green Party slate.

Chad Koppie is the Constitution Party candidate for the U.S. Senate.

Summers is from Harvard and Koppie is from Gilberts in northern Kane County.
