After last week’s events in Washington, Elizabeth and I have had a chance to discuss what’s next in this journey, and we kept coming back to one thing – we are so grateful for our dedicated supporters at home.  Without you, I wouldn’t be in Congress, and my colleagues wouldn’t have considered me for a top spot in leadership.

So above all, I want to say thank you.

The countdown towards November marches on, and we have an election to win.  Monday is a quarterly fundraising deadline for our campaign, when we submit our report to the FEC.  After last week’s loss in Washington, a strong report will remind our Democratic opponent that we will not be defeated at home.
