FIRST, your presumptive first sentence states you are looking forward to being President of the Village.
ACCORDING TO THE NWH “To actually hold the title of acting president, you would have to be elected at a board meeting,” said Larry Frang, executive director of the Illinois Municipal League.
Then you sign “Acting President”???
You need to clarify and quickly what EXACTLY has transpired and what will happen next.
Call a special meeting already and start doing business in the open.
