GOP Sends Pitch to District 6

The McHenry County Republican Party has mailed a postcard to residents in the Western part of McHenry County.

Presumably similar mailings will arrive in the rest of the county.

There is no contest for County Board in District 6 with Michele Aavang and Larry Smith running unopposed by any Democrat.

It will be interesting to see if there is a promotion of the Republicans being challenged in Districts 1, 3 and 4.

You can see the mailing below:

The address side of the mailing shows the new face of the Republican Party, Chairman Sandy Salgado. The candidacies of Bill Prim for Sheriff and Bruce Rauner for Governor are highlighted.

New faces are also featured on the back of the piece.

It is disappointing that Steve Reick’s candidacy against long-long-time incumbent Democrat Jack Franks (who promised to limit himself to three terms) is not emphasized on the back.

GOP Sends Pitch to District 6 — 6 Comments

  1. **It is disappointing that Steve Reick’s candidacy**

Maybe if Reick actually had a real campaign it would have been highlighted differently?

Franks is going to win by 20 points.

  2. Looks like Harrison is up to his old tricks again by deceiving the people to vote for him.

Harrison has put out a example ballot,so to say, the only ting is some of what he states is not ” The whole truth”

Harrison was not a Sheriff for 8 years but 7 1/2 years.

Harrison makes it look like it was yesterday when he Fails to mention that it was 25 years ago

    Misleading the public.

Why does Harrison fail to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth?

Harrison says he wants to be transparent but this shows he only will be 1/2 transparent.

Why is he afraid to say he was a Sheriff 25 years ago.

This is how Harrison plays his games.
    Don’t be a game player
    Vote for Prim Nov. 4th

  3. This piece was sent to whole county not just district 6.

Therefore no need to support Steve.

His name appears on the part to take with to the ballot
