A press release from the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office:

SHANE LAMB PLEADS GUILTY TO AGGRAVATED POSSESSION OF STOLEN FIREARMS

Louis A. Bianchi, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announces that Shane Lamb, 30, pled guilty to the offense of Aggravated Possession of Stolen Firearms.

This offense is a class X felony with a special sentencing range of six to 40 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.

Lamb entered an open plea which means there is no agreement in terms of the sentence. The sentencing date is set for March 19, 2015.

The evidence at trial would have shown that Lamb stole a gun safe from a residence in the city of McHenry, Illinois.

The safe contained more than ten firearms, and Lamb was identified by witnesses taking the safe out of the residence.

There were other items of memorabilia that were contained in the safe that Lamb pawned at a pawn shop in Wisconsin.

This case was investigated by Detective Robert Roske from the McHenry City Police Department.

This case was prosecuted by Robert Zalud and John Gibbons of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office.

  1. Shane Lamb pleads guilty?

    Gee, what a shock!

Sounds like there was a murder in Johnsburg he should have plead guilty to also.

    Your basic lifelong criminal.

  2. The only thing good about this POS is that he co-operated and nailed the Daddy’s little POS in the Johnsburg murder.

I hope they meet on the prison grounds, maybe justice will be done.
