Michael McGrath had an accident driving his Animal Control vehicle on July 9, 2012.

It was a sudden and violent collision in which the McHenry County vehicle hit Tawney Herron, according to the law suit filed by Alan Sangiacomo.

The County is paying Herron $280,000 as result.

Now the Human Resources Committee is scheduled to consider a separation agreement for McGrath at its next Friday morning.  (You can read it here.)

He was terminated July 30, 2104.

McGrath will received $1,171.50, minus deductions, as severance and the County agrees it will not challenge unemployment benefits.  He will not be eligible for another County job.
