Crime Stoppers and the CLPD are seeking info on incidents of Retail Theft and attempted Retail Theft that occurred between 1/14 & 1/16/15

Crystal Lake Crime Stoppers and the Crystal Lake Police Department are seeking information that will help solve multiple incidents of Retail Theft and an attempted Retail Theft that occurred between Tuesday, January 14th, and Thursday, January 16th, 2015.

At approximately 11:40 am and again at 5:30 pm this past Tuesday, the subject pictured in the attached images removed merchandise from Wal-Mart, 1205 South Route 31, Crystal Lake, without paying and subsequently returned the items for store credit.

Seemingly the same subject attempted to repeat this act this past Thursday at approximately 11:20 am but did not receive credit.

The subject appears to be a Caucasian male, in his late teens to early 20’s, brown medium/short length hair, thick side burns, glasses, and wore a dark brown leather jacket with a light brown collar.Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards of up to $1000 for information leading to the arrest and filing of criminal charges against offenders.
