The McHenry County Department of Transportation offers the following update on Randall Road improvements:

Stopped on Randall Road at Miller Road light on the morning of Wednesday, August 13, 2014.

Final design was initiated with IDOT, CMAP and utility owners at the end of 2014.

Survey and data collection efforts are scheduled to be completed by the summer of 2015.

Final plans, right-of-way acquisition and utility coordination will be ongoing throughout 2015 and 2016.

Construction between Bunker Hill Drive/Huntington Drive and Acorn Lane/Polaris Drive, including the conventional design for Randall Road/Algonquin Road intersection, could begin as early as the spring of 2017, pending project readiness and funding availability.
