A press release from Congressman Peter Roskam:

WASHINGTON, DC—Today, Congressman Peter Roskam (IL-06), a member of the Select Committee on Benghazi, released the following statement regarding the Committee’s decision to subpoena all communications of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

“For months the Select Committee has pressed the State Department for access to all communications from key officials on watch during the Benghazi terrorist attacks.

“Yet until last week the Administration failed to mention that countless e-mails from Secretary Clinton have been missing from this search because she exclusively used private accounts during her tenure.

“This disturbing revelation raises serious questions regarding whether Secretary Clinton complied with federal record keeping requirements and the Obama administration’s record policies.

“The last time we saw a high government official seeking to edit their own responses was President Nixon, and at least then he enjoyed the benefit of executive privilege.

“We have said from the beginning that our investigation would follow the facts wherever they lead us—and we intend to keep that promise by reviewing all of the relevant facts and documents in order to issue the definitive report on what happened before, during, and after the terrorist attacks in Benghazi.”

  1. Nixon was better that clinton would ever be!!

She will never be a good president, And we don’t need her cheating hillbilly hubby back in the white house.

  2. Oh, come on now!

The politicians of today are far worse than Nixon.

Nixon’s scandal had nothing to do with dead soldiers.

What Nixon did is extremely mellow compared to the deceit that Americans have had to endure over the last two administrations of Bush and Obama.

These politicians today make Nixon look like a pretty straight shooting guy.
