As you can see from the March 3rd letter below, Pat Quinn’s name is still on its letterhead.

  1. Elected Politicians’ names shouldn’t be on anything paid for with taxpayer money.

  2. I agree with Mark but I also ask why the current County Clerk raised such a fuss about the necessity to immediately order new stationary when she took office.

    IF she was serious about saving the taxpayer money, she would have done what Rauner is doing.

  3. New letterhead is a “non essential expense.”

    If this is the most pressing concern to you involving the DHS, you may need to learn a little more about what the DHS does.

    They are tasked with providing healthcare and ensuring child wellbeing at a time when Illinois public aid programs are suffering from cutbacks, budget shortages and inflated spending.

    The cautious voter and Mark are both absolutely right, the most conscientious thing to do is NOT make a big fuss about who’s name is on the paper, and use it because it’s already been paid for.
