Some will remember the full page “I’m just like you” ads in the Northwest Herald that McHenry County College ran in an attempt to improve its image.

At least they didn’t run before MCC college board elections.

That was YESTERDAY.

All over the State of Illinois junior college board trustees are on the ballot on Tuesday.

Now, I know that newspaper advertising deadlines are more than 24 hours, but take a look at what Adam Andrzejewski found in the Thursday edition of the Wheaton Suburban Life:

Andrzejewski observes,

“This is a full page ad in today’s Wheaton Suburban Life news… despite the recent investigations and allegations of ‘cooking-the-books’ on enrollment numbers, COD officials continue to be very aggressive in their marketing.”
