Child Safety Seat Check Event April 18, 2015- Harvard

There will be a child safety seat check on Saturday, April 18, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the parking lot of Walmart, 21101 McGuire Road, Harvard, Illinois.

Safe Kids of McHenry County is hosting this event with support from the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office.

Child Passenger Safety technicians will be available to educate and assist parents and caregivers with correct installation and use of child safety seats. Every driver and passenger, front or back seat, is required to wear a safety belt. Children are required to be in a car seat or booster seat until at east the age of 8.

Those at the event will be available to answer any questions you may have regarding child passenger safety recommendations and proper installation.
