The Illinois Department of Transpotration’s Secretary,Randy Blankenhorn, will be in McHenry May 1st.  Details are below:

IDOT Secretary to Hold Listening Tour in McHenry

On Friday, May 1, IDOT Secretary of Transportation, Randy Blankenhorn, will hold a meeting in McHenry as part of the Illinois Infrastructure Listening Tour.

The meeting will be at 2:00 p.m. at the McHenry City Hall.

As part of the Listening Tour, Secretary Blankenhorn and IDOT staff will engage residents and local leaders on transportation priorities, critical needs and strategic goals.

  1. Hopefully, these guys will have common sense.

    IDOT is forcing the use of fractured stone as opposed to use of excavated stone sending trucks all the way to Rockford to haul gravel to McHenry county when we have plenty is stone here!

    They want the hell with the citizen and their views or smart suggestions to come to a win- win situation! for all!
