The parcel of land on County Club Road north of Ridgefield that was once scheduled to become a Metra station is now up for auction, a sign on the property says.
The last time I checked it was owned by County Board member Ken Koehler and the estate of Gary Seigmeier.
The selection outraged Craig Steagall, part owner of land across the tracks that Metra had originally shown interest in purchasing.
The property is just north of Alexander Lumber.
Is it in foreclosure.
If so, why does a county board member need property to be foreclosed and sold at a short sale?
How good can he manage county board if he can’t manage his own property?
And he wanted the state to bail him out and give him big bucks for the property and now should not be allowed to walk away if he has assets.
Since when does a property auction equal forclosure or a short sale?
