There were various write-in victories throughout McHenry County.

One was David Moore, former Grafton Township Supervisor Linda Moore’s husband.

Write-in victor David Moore sits on the left in this photo of a Huntley Library Board meeting.

He ran a successful write-in campaign for the Huntley Library Board and recently attended his first meeting.

In a reversal of roles, Linda was the one taking pictures from the audience.

David was known for videoing Grafton Township meetings.
