In reality, it will be appointed by the Supreme Court Justice from this district–Justice Robert Thomas.
Who will he ask for advice?
Certainly one person will be Judge Michael Chmiel, whom he originally appointed.
My guess is that Chmiel will be finding that he has a lot of new friends.

Judge Graham was a disgrace.
He possesses a tiny intellect, he had a weak character, he was politically dependent on Sheriff Nygren, he recurrently showed poor judgment, and he was simply a bad judge.
He was a political hack.
His retirement is a blessing. He is one more rotten apple to have fallen from the Nygren political tree of hell.
