Property covenants in Turnberry say that the country club must remain a membership-based club.

Lakewood Village Manager Catherine Peterson’s memo to Trustees prior to last week’s meeting contained the following tidbit of information concerning the possible sale of the Turnberry Country Club:

We received a message from a land planner for the individual who has expressed an interest in the possible purchase of Turnberry Country Club, as well as several vacant parcels.

We are working to schedule a time to meet to review his preliminary concepts.
